Cartagena, located on the north coast of Colombia on the shores of the Caribbean Ocean, was a port of call for many Spanish galleons and a home port for some swashbuckling pirates. I got to stay in a little oasis on a side street in this beautiful old city for five days to take photographs to my hearts content.
