Put aside any thoughts of the Cartel in Medellin, those days are over, although my guide was a bit nervous as I photographed downtown. This City is the second largest in Colombia, located in the Aburra valley in the Andes Mountains. It is an industrial hub of the country, and home to proud Paisas and many art works by Botero. I was lucky to catch the Christmas Light Festival over the Medellin River.
