People always express a curiosity about Iceland. I’ve been fortunate to visit this peaceful, exceptionally pure Island several times. It has a dynamic landscape that I understand was used to train astronauts for moon landings, and skies are triple layered. They have a joke with the question “what do you do when lost on the Island?” The answer…”stand up!” All the forests of the Island were lost to fuel for heat and ship building adding to the barren rugged look of the landscape. Today they are re-planted, and slowly taking hold.
