Come in! There are a few adventures I’ve written about, but most of the content offers classes in photography and mentoring for photographers, including photo theory, which, although a vital part in our profession, is largely an overlooked subject in all published media that profits from and feeds our gadget minded mindset today.
Another way to look at the WORLD!
We’ll be getting back to Evora-Portugal, Aspen-Colorado and more, but wanted to share another view. The photographs are credited to my friend Carlos, my sister Yvonne, and the skydive group.
Carlos Solano (r), a recently retired Boeing 777 Captain and avid photographer, asked –“what made you decide to jump out of a perfectly good plane?”
My sister Yvonne has been my co-pilot since I was a very little fellow…
Join me…here we go….up to 14.000 feet…
Last moments before leaving a perfectly good plane…
Getting a face lift (the plane, left behind seconds before, is up in the background)…
Lake Okeechobee in the distance, and the landing strip below…
Fly like an Eagle… (at least for moments)
Then the shut begins to open, putting a break on the freefall…
All now becomes quiet, peaceful, the Earth below so beautiful…
Back on terra firma… Do it, it’s a gas!
