I invite you to enjoy a beautiful portrait of yourself, your family and pet(s), taken in a comfortable state of the art studio that is completely dedicated to showing the subject in the best light. Getting the best results is a creative process and a fun experience for you and your family.
I like to focus in on the character, beauty and look of people and subjects using a variety of simple – low, medium, or high key lighting set-ups and techniques. The latter, high key lighting can be transformed to colors or other backdrops/locations if so desired. And keep in mind that black and white photography is a wonderful option.
Instant adjustments and selections will be made as we take several opportunities, using a large monitor, to review a set of photographs taken. This will insure your complete satisfaction before leaving the Studio.
All photography and related services, such as prints or promotional materials, are created specifically for you, therefore sitting fees do not revolve around time. My work for you is complete when you see a variety of photographic options you are very happy with. The number of people or pets or both to be photographed does enter into giving you a price. Possibly you wish to have a variety of poses or groupings of family members. Whatever you desire and enjoy, please come in and let me know. My pricing is balanced, the treatment you will receive will be with care, and the photography will be masterful.

James through his fine art photography has significant experience in working with women, having them feel relaxed, comfortable, and confident, while making the most the beautiful personal self images. The sessions are akin to making fine art portraits, and the desired style, setting and outcome is fully considered. A free consultation will help you find out what is right for you in capturing the essence of your beauty.
Model sessions have a minimum 1 hour of studio time. There are no limits to changes. Longer session times available. Special settings or props can be discussed and planned for. Makeup artist and Hairstylists are available upon request.

Portraits for 2 w/one selection enhanced (+ $10 for each person/pet over 2): $ 125.00
Note: Enhanced means all Lightroom/Photoshop optimization for printing and website presentation. The selected photo enhanced will be printed at a 50% discount (see printing pricing below). With respect to enhancements for additional photographs you select please go to Commercial service – Studio & Lab – Photoshop, noting most general non-advanced work runs a 1/4 hour or less in time.

Pricing for prints includes Lightroom and basic (none-advanced) Photoshop adjustments. A sampling of portrait optimization includes cropping, burning/dodging, color adjustments, b/w conversion, working on eyes and teeth, moderating lines and creases, and other subtle enhancements that make remarkable improvements without changing the essence of the subject. Today there are so many possibilities and options, so this may be confusing and I wall be happy to speak with directly to clarify.
